Club Deportivo Open reached the second place at IVT tournament in Breda (Netherlands) last week. The event congregated 19 teams from all Europe playing for the prizes in two groups. CD Open finished first in its group what allow them to play and won by 1-0 the semifinal against the team in second place of group B.
On the final, although scoring first in the first half, the big effort of 12 matches in a few days impacted the galicians and they were beated twice by the englishman of Canterbury HC by 2-1.
Great organization in a vey numerous and exigent tournament where CD Open was recognized collectively as a great and friendly team. A number of other teams have shown their interest in coming next year to the International Veterans Open 2011.
